Elements Editorial

Summary
Elements is a conceptual fashion editorial inspired by Pacita Abad’s European Mask, using vibrant colors, bold patterns, and layered textures to celebrate thrifted clothing. Presented as a digital editorial lookbook, it showcases how pre-loved fashion brings individuality, joy, and creativity to everyday style.
Challenge
Translating Abad’s dynamic, layered artistic style into a cohesive fashion editorial while highlighting secondhand clothing as expressive and aspirational, and adapting the concept for a digital lookbook format.
Creative Focus
I photographed all images and designed a digital editorial lookbook through website design, using a colourful palette, inspired by Abad. Styling and layout emphasised the personality and story of thrifted garments, creating an immersive, visually rich editorial experience.
Results
Elements showcased secondhand fashion as vibrant, joyful, and creative, taking form through photography, styling, and website design. The editorial successfully merged art and fashion, celebrating sustainable, expressive style in a contemporary, engaging format.
“I always see the world through color, although my vision, perspective, and paintings are constantly influenced by new ideas and changing environment.”
